DAANAV DEV PHANIND NISAACHAR BHOOT BHAVIKH BHAWAAN JAPAE-N-GE ॥

(That almighty God) who is worshiped by the demons, the gods, the ghosts, and the mighty serpents, in the past, present and future,

daanav: demons, dev: gods, phanind: huge serpants, nisaachar: ghosts, bhoot: past, bhavikh: future, bhawaan: God, japae-n-ge: repeat God’s Name or remember Him, implies revered   or worshiped.


JEEV JITE JITE JAL MAE-N THAL MAE-N PAL HI PAL MAE-N SABH THAAP THAPAE-N-GE

(That almighty God) who creates all the creatures on land and the waters in the spur of a moment

jeev: living beings, jite: all, jal mae-n: in waters, thal mae-n: in land, pal: moment, pal hi pal mae-n: in a moment, sab: all, thaap: create

 

PUN PRATAAPAN BAAD JAET DHUN PAAPAN KE BAHO PUNJ KHAPAE-N-GE

By remembering whom, the virtuous are glorified and all the sinners are destroyed.

pun: good deeds, virtues, prataapan: glories, baad jaet: increase, dhun: repeating His praises, remembering God, paapan: sins, baho: many, punj: heaps, khapae-n-ge: get destroyed.

 

SAADH SAMUH PARSAN PHIRAE-N JAG SATRE SABHAE AVLOK CHAPA-N-GE II 7 II

The virtuous will live happily on this earth and their enemies (sinners) will disappear upon seeing the glory of the virtuous ones.

saadh: saints, virtuous people, samuh: all, parsan: happy, phire-n: move around, jag: world, satre: enemy, sabhae: all, avlok: by seeing, chapae-n-ge: will disappear.

 

This is a good opportunity to memorize Gurbani, one Pauri at a time. You can concentrate better and enjoy more if you recite bani without looking at the gutka.
